So ive decided im recapping my whole day and telling you guys.
So first me alex liz kristen and nikki got on the 3:27 train out of Wantagh & (where everyone hated our chipperness at 3am!) got to the today show around 4:15am. We were like 20th online. It was insane. The whole front of the line was all the rent heads & a guy dressed up as a cow. So we're chilling and then people told us that the cast was arriving so we went over to the door and saw adam and anthony go in, and then Tracie stuck around and took pictures and signed autographs and stuff. Then we got back in line and heard seasons of love. (soundcheck) So we ran over past the cops and watched. It was awesome. We kept cheering for the cast and then we said "we love you idina" sign and she did the whole rock on thing. Then Rappo saw his Rappo = love sign and laughed at us. The rent camera crew came around and interviewd everyone for the contest. Finally they let us in around 6:30.
Our spots were awesome we were right near the door so we saw the whole cast go in and out. In the barrocades the cast started signing things but then had to go in. Someone from the street team took a picture of our sign and was talking to us and was like hang on a second & screamed "idina come over here." So idina came and was talking to us.She asked to keep the sign so we let her. Just as she was gonna take pictures with us a maul of people came over and she was like "i'll come back later I promise!" Then Rappo came out and he came over to me and my rappo sign and was like I NEVER HEARD RAPPO BEFORE! I was like really? He was like no Rappy..but never rappo. So he signed my bible "Thanks. Love Rappo" it was amazing.
So the today show happened and everyone in the crowd was just chillen singing rent sogns and whatever waiting for the cast. Rosario Dawsons mom was outside talking to everyone, she is the coolest thing ever. Finally the cast came on and sang seasons of love twice cause it got cut off the first time. Jesse L. Martin before they sang from the stage turned around and thanked all the Rent Heads in the audience. They sang SoL & the cast got off the stage except for Adam and Anthony who did What You Own. So they were all sitting right in front of us. After the performance the cast signed. Then we decided to make our way over to Bryant Park.
We met Jenna up in Bryant park who saved us seats. (SECOND ROW). And then they did sound check. They were talking to us from the stage and we were sitting right next to Rosarios mom. She was like "guys this is why you get pregnant young!" She was like screaming to the cast from the audience and stuff. And then made us all sing seasons of love. When it came to the harmonies of course we sucked and she was like
"YOU CALL YOURSELVES RENTHEADS!?" Then Idina and Tracie did TMoLM and Rosario came and sat right in front of me with her mom. Idina and Tracie did an awesome job. We got flashed by Idinas wonderful abs. Then after soundcheck i walked over by the stage cause Idina was just chillen and talked to her for like two seconds and told her that she sounded amazing during TMoLM & she said thanks and then had to go.
So we waited about 3 more hours in the heat watched the other rehersals . IT WAS SO HOT. Jenna got sick. Liz was about to pass out. My feet were cut raw from my shows and i was in desperate need of a pool. It was safe to say we all were cranky and dehydrated. We walked around to get food in shifts. I met some SBers & met up with my cousin. Finally, Rent came on and did their thing & all was well. There was a technical glitch during SoL and their faces were so funny. TMoLM was simply amazing.
Then nikki came with me to get shoes because my feet were dead. We ended up going to quicksilver and i ended up spending $10 on pinkflip flops which a. didnt match b. didnt fit c. over priced and d. less comfortable than the old navy ones. but i was desperate. Then we ate at the timesqaure brewery where the service sucks. I didnt eat cause i had such a bad stomach ache from not eating all day that i couldnt eat anyay. Finally we came home i loaded my pics. told everyone i met idina. marissa came over we watched Jessica simpson on the late show & then i went to bed at 2am.
